The new Carillon club at 95th and 248th is coming right along. The sales trailer is up and the dirt is flying. I’ll be interested to see the new road configuration when they vacate 248th st at 95th.
This is going to be Cambridge Builders third largest Carillon Club (the largest is the original on Weber Road… Cambridge at Carillon) but also their most luxurious. Models are expected to open this fall
Cambridge Builders (DR Horton) is planning another of their tremendously successful “over 55″ active adult communities… this time in Naperville. The site is located on 278 acres just southwest of the White Eagle Club at the corner of 95th and 248th…. there’s a catch though; the builder wants the streets to be private (gated community) and that means closing 248th street at 95th street.
Businesses in the neighboring Wheatland Township business park are less than thrilled about having their only southern access cut off. The developer is proposing a new route west of the current one to be temporarily referred to as 250th.
My guess is that this will all happen soon.
